Packing Tips

While packing, use this checklist to help you make your move as smooth as possible. Print this page
Supplies and Accessories
Boxes of various sizes
Bubble wrap
Marking pens
Tape Measure 		  Furniture Pads or sheets
Packaging Tape
Scissors
 
Useful Packing Tips
Label boxes with the contents and the room in the new house to which they should be delivered.
Number the boxes and keep a list of what is in each box.
Clearly mark fragile items.
Keep a medical kit accessible
If you have children, pack a bag of games and activities for the trip.
Pack a bag of personal items you'll need during the move, such as a change of clothes, toiletries, medicine, maps, food and drinks. Keep the bag in an easy-to-find place when you pack.
